Winter is coming

Two days,
all the vestige of summer
goes behind an evanescent figure.

Two days,
so you can remember me

like the embers that sheltered you
like the dagger that wounded you.

Two days of autumn
to rest of the pain
of the heat that brings you.

Two, equinox
Two, so that only one remains.

Drops of frost
on the cheek flushed.

Around a campfire
cleft marks
of an absence.

What will be my memory
bitter honey or
sweetness of evaporating roses.

Two days
summer

Two centuries
winter

The shortest day
the most ephemeral love.

Dream gray angel
see cobbled streets

Dream with the cold
that brings
these two days

You’ll drink to forget
you ‘ll remember to forget

When the cup
be empty
your skin will be shed
